Headlander: How to Save Your Game

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Headlander sees you floating around a 1970s sci-fi world as you try and free humanity from being enslaved by the evil AI, Methuselah. While the game is definitely one you’re not going to want to put down all that often, there are going to be times that reality beckons. Here’s how to save the game so you don’t lose any of your progress.

Headlander actually uses an auto-save function, meaning that you don’t have to worry about saving your progress at all. From our time with the game, it seemed as if the game was pretty much autosaving every time we went through a door and into another room. There’s no way to manually save your progress in Headlander, so the best way to ensure your progress is definitely saved is to walk into a room and look for the spinning reels in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

That’s all you need to know about Headlander’s saving system. Now go forth and save humanity!
