In Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ the single biggest power boost to you character comes in the form of strengthening your Keyblade. Unfortunately, doing this sometimes requires a material called Teardrops which can be a pain to find especially early in the game.

Luckily, we’ve uncovered the best ways to reliably farm up Teardrops in record time. There are two quests, one early on and one much deeper into the game, that are absolutely perfect for obtaining Teardrops and keeping you in fighting form.

Story Quest No. 21: Through the Woods Pt. 5

KHUX Quest No.21

In the early stages of the game, your best bet to collect Teardrops will be doing story quest number 21 in Wonderland. The mission provides the opportunity to collect 3 Teardrops each time you undertake it. The mission is heavy on speed-based enemies, so stack on your strength medals and begin.

After loading in, move north and hop over the log to engage the Tornado Step and his Solider friend. After taking the enemies out you can choose to take the left path for a red chest and a Strange Bulb. Continue top left and you’ll encounter a Yellow Opera. Take him out and keep trekking the path for your first Teardrops and a bonus Strange Bulb. Move to the other side of the screen and grab two Strange Leaves along the way. You can avoid or fight the Shadow wandering here, but you’ll have to take out the Aerial Knocker and two Soliders to get to the other side.

Directly below where you fought the Soldiers is a pathway that will take you to the final two Teardrops. Head to the bottom right and defeat the Tornado Step boss, his brother, and his tag-along Shadow friend to claim your loot. At only four AP this stage is the most cost-effective and earliest way to farm up lots of Teardrops. However, it is by no means the fastest.

Story Quest No. 124: Preliminary Round 3

KHUX Quest No.124

The fastest way to gather a lot of Teardrops quickly is actually much further along in the story. You’ll have to make your way to mission number 124 in the Olympus Coliseum. This quest allows you to collect 5 Teardrops and only has two groups of enemies to fight. While the first group is comprise of three weak Violet Waltz, the second has two powerful Wizards, one of which is the area’s boss.

Load up on strong speed-based medals, you’re going to need them. The Teardrops are littered around the ground, but the map isn’t very big so just gather them all up. You’ll also find 5 Ember, 1 Broken Biscuit, and 1 Gold Ore on the ground as well. Don’t forget to open the purple chest in the middle and pray for some good drops. You know what they say “two birds, one mythril stone.” This is a fairly costly quest at 10 AP, however it is by far the fastest way to amass tons of Teardrops in record time.

Both of these are fantastic options for gathering up Teardrops. Just find which of these missions best suits your needs and get to it.
