Stardew Valley: Where to Catch Pufferfish

Where to Catch Pufferfish in Stardew Valley

Recommended Videos

Stardew Valley has plenty of fish in the sea. And lakes. And ponds. And rivers. Look, the point is there’s a ton for you to catch. One such fish (that is also necessary for a Community Center bundle as well as a villager quest) is the Pufferfish.

The Pufferfish is a bit rare, though, so you won’t have that easy of a time catching one. The easiest way to get a hold of one is by waiting until the Summer and going fishing at the beach during the day. Keep casting that line and hope that one pops out. Be sure to also upgrade your pole to make your time spent trying to nab it a bit easier.

There you have it, a steady supply of pufferfish is at the palm of your hand! These sell for 200 coins, 250 if Silver Star, and 300 if Gold Star. You might also get lucky and be able to buy one from the Travelling Cart, but this is your best bet. The cart had two for sale for me, one was 800 coins and the second was 1,000. So, yes, this is one pricey fish.
