Torbjorn was disabled due to a severe bug allowing him to use his Overload ability twice in quick succession, circumventing the cooldown. He is the latest hero to have experienced a bug since Overwatch 2’s launch.

Fellow Damage hero, Bastion, has been missing in action since the game’s launch due to a bug where his ultimate would shoot more projectiles than intended. It’s important to note that Torbjorn has only been disabled from ranked game modes and can still be played in the game’s causal modes. Overwatch Commercial Leader & VP at Blizzard, Jon Spector, says that the team at Blizzard Entertainment is set to implement fixes on Oct. 25.
