Where is Celeborn in Rings of Power?

During a conversation with Theo, Galadriel says that her husband, Celebron, went away to war and didn’t come back. Since he is a well-established character that appears in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, it would be quite a shock if he’s dead.

As such, the most likely explanation is that Caelborn was captured and will be rescued at some point in the show. If Adar knows anything about the character’s location, he’s keeping quiet about it at the moment.

When Galadriel recounts meeting Celeborn for the first time for Theo, he couldn’t believe she was dancing and how much happier she was before the war took her family from her. Future episodes will certainly reveal where her husband has been all this time, so his story leading up to the Lord of the Rings movies will make sense.

That’s everything you need to know about what happened to Galadriel’s husband. Check out some of our other Rings of Power content, like the Stranger’s healing spell and is Isiludr dead.
