Gotham Knights is here, and while it does not bring players that Arkham-like feel many have been missing, there are elements of those games sprinkled throughout WB Montreal’s latest effort. Instead of Riddler trophies, there are other collectables for players to seek out. In this case, we’re going to explain where all secret cache locations are in Gotham Knights.
What Are Secret Caches in Gotham Knights?
Relatively early on in the game, players will be able to start finding secret caches throughout Gotham City. There are 12 in total, and while each give our characters some useful resources, they also unlock a secret audio recording from Bruce Wayne detailing his ever-evolving life as Batman. It’s an intriguing and sometimes sentimental insight into the man under the cowl that we’re not quite used to seeing in these games.
All Secret Cache Locations in Gotham Knights
Again, there are 12 locations players will find these secret caches/audio recordings. Every once in a while, you will have to return to The Belfry to begin another patrol in order for more caches to spawn. The locations are as follows, and it will be noted whenever a player has to return to The Belfry before finding more.
Secret Cache #1
Located on a roof southwest of the Elliot Center, in the Financial District. After grabbing this one, be sure to return to The Belfry to start a new patrol, thus spawning the next four caches.
Secret Cache #2
Located on the roof of Quartz Labs northwest of The Belfry, also in the Financial District.
Secret Cache #3
Located on the roof of a building on Neville Street southwest of Gotham City Cathedral, in Old Gotham.
Secret Cache #4
Located south of Paris Island, in The Cauldron.
Secret Cache #5
Located southeast of Cobblepot Steel, in The Southwest District. After securing cache #5, return to The Belfry in order to begin another evening patrol. In doing so, four more cache locations will spawn.
Secret Cache #6
Located east of Kane Industries and in The Tricorner Island District.
Secret Cache #7
Located on the roof of the infamous Monarch Theater in The Bowery.
Secret Cache #8
Located on the roof of a building southwest of Wayne Tower, in Otisburg.
Secret Cache #9
Located north of the Gotham City Gazette, pretty much right in the middle of the West End District. After grabbing cache #9, you’ll have to return to The Belfry once more in order to begin a new patrol. Once you do, the final three cache locations will spawn.
Secret Cache #10
Located on the roof of a building near where Bierce Avenue & Chambers Street intersect, in Gotham Heights.
Secret Cache #11
Located on the lower roof of a building displaying the Gotham Reservoir billboard, all the way out in the Bristol District.
Secret Cache #12
Located on the roof of a building near where Mercey Avenue and Oxylus Street intersect, still in the Bristol District.
How to Unlock Secret Caches in Gotham Knights
In order to begin unlocking secret cache locations, players must first complete Gotham Knights Case 01: Batman’s Last Case. Once players do so and go to the designated locations, a time trial will be triggered. Simply beat the trial by either grappling or jumping to each blue emitter before time runs out, and the secret cache will reveal itself on your map.
Across all 12 cache locations, each trial prompts you with anywhere between five and eight emitters to get to before time runs out. Not to mention, each trial only lasts anywhere between 15 and 25 seconds. There isn’t a lot of time to think, so if you have to try a few times in order to move on to the next one, so be it.
