Iron Banner has finally returned to Destiny 2 for Season of Plunder. On top of a brand new game mode, Eruption Clash, there’s also two weapons returning to the loot table. One of which is a weapon that hasn’t been featured since Season 8, the Roar of the Bear Rocket Launcher. So today, let’s discuss how to get the Roar of the Bear Rocket Launcher, as well as what the God Roll for it is.
How to Get Roar of the Bear in Destiny 2
How to get Roar of the Bear in Destiny 2
- Star and compete in Iron Banner.
In order to obtain your first copy of Roar of the Bear, you must play the featured Iron Banner game mode and earn reputation points to reach rank four.
- Reach Rank 7 in Iron Banner
Upon reaching rank seven, you may collect your very own copy of Roar of the Bear.
- Focus Iron Engrams for a better roll.
After grabbing your first copy of Roar of the Bear, you can obtain further copies at the end of Iron Banner matches. By paying one Iron Engram and 20,000 glimmers, and 100 legendary shards, you can buy more copies of the gun until you reach the roll you are looking for.
What is the God Roll for Roar of the Bear?
There are a few noteworthy combos of perks that can make Allied Demand into a top-tier weapon. But of course, every gun must have the best roll. According to Light.gg, the highest rated pair of perks considered the “God Roll” for the weapon is Field Prep, and Vorpal Weapon. Field Prep allows for increased reload speed while crouching, while Vorpal Weapon gives a 15% damage boost against boss enemies. A great option for high-difficulty PVE content.
Can you Craft Roar of the Bear?
Unfortunately, no, you aren’t able to craft it at this time. This applies to all other Iron Banner weapons as well. However, Bungie has said in a previous TWAB that there could be a possibility in a future season for Iron Banner weapons to become craftable. If and when they do become craftable in the future, we’ll be sure to update you with the information.
