Choices can make or break you in a game like The Quarry, be it dialogue options or actions you can take that will influence the game’s story. How to Save Laura in The Quarry
Laura will be featured heavily in the Prologue. However, none of the decisions taken there will directly affect her condition. Instead, we will catch up with her later on in The Quarry.
Chapter 7
Laura
While we are being imprisoned by Travis, the key point to remember is that you do not want to make the police officer angry. For all dialogue options, choose to be nice and go along with whatever Travis is saying.
Once control is handed to you, be sure to find the sedative syringe located in the office on the third floor. Head back to your cell, pry open the loose brick next to the bed using the spoon, and hide the syringe. Go to sleep, and prepare yourself for some QTEs in order to sedate Travis for a non-violent escape.
Chapter 9
Laura/Ryan
Upon being discovered by the Hacketts, a struggle will occur between Laura and Constance. Mash the button and shoot her head off to keep Laura safe, and in the proceeding events, choose to shoot the gun once more, and as Ryan, do not pull the knife out.
When facing Jediah Hackett, you can choose to either attack or hide. Succeed and Laura will be safe. Eventually, Ryan and Laura will find the monster in the attic, before crashing through the floor. As Ryan, choose to shoot the monster to break Laura’s curse.
Chapter 10
Laura
The end is near, and as Ryan, Laura, and Travis head on the final hunt, your job of saving Laura can be easily done by choosing to end Silas’ life.
With the curse broken and hopefully, Max safe on the island, the lovers can reunite and get the hell out of Hackett’s Quarry. It may not be easy, but now that you know how to save Laura in The Quarry, it might actually be more fun if you choose to kill all the counsellors instead.
