You’ll need to plant a Reality Seed at either Sunflower’s Saplings or Fungi Farm in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 for one of the week 4 quests. In this guide, we’ll run you through where to find each of these landmark locations on the battle royale island, as well as explain how to plant Reality Seeds if you’ve not yet done it this season.
Where to Plant a Reality Seed at Sunflower’s Saplings or Fungi Farm
Sunflower’s Saplings can be found to the west of the Daily Bugle, while Fungi Farm is found to the southwest of Groovy Grove. Their locations are marked on the map below.
Keep in mind that you only have to plant a Reality Seed at one of these locations, so don’t worry about visiting both. We’d recommend going to Sunflower’s Saplings, as it’s a little more out of the way from Reality Falls than Fungi Farm.
This means people are less likely to travel across the map to Sunflower’s Saplings to plant it, and will make a beeline from grabbing a Reality Seed from the Reality Tree to Fungi Farm instead.
Once you’ve thrown down a Reality Seed at either of these places, the quest will complete and you’ll have 15,000 XP for your troubles. Keep in mind both Fungi Farm and Sunflower’s Saplings are likely to be very busy for the first few days of the week 4 quests going live, so be prepared for a fight.
How to Plant a Reality Seed in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
To plant a Reality Seed, you’ll first need to get one. These can be obtained from existing Reality Saplings planted by yourself or other players around the map by harvesting the fruit on them, or by finding one of the large, purple flowers around Reality Falls, shown in the image below.
Pick up the seed itself and it’ll be added to your inventory. To plant it, select it from your inventory, aim it at the floor and when the little plant outline turns blue, use the ‘Fire’ button to throw it at the floor and plant it.
