Epic Games has rolled out yet another new, original skin into Fortnite in the form of Zuri. According to the blog post that revealed her, Zuri is known for her grace in her attacks, as well as the design of her tattoos. This makes up part of what makes the skin so special, as there’s a contest players can enter revolving around tattoo designs.
How to Get Zuri Skin in Fortnite
The Zuri skin can be purchased from the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,200 V-Bucks.
This equates to about $9.99 or £7.50.
For that 1,200 V-Bucks, players get the Zuri skin itself, as well as the Enchanted Featherfighters back bling, which have the description: “An honor worn by generations of tournament champions. Part of the Ring General set.”
Rounding out the set, players will also get the ‘Best in the Ring’ loading screen. The description for this reads: “Even once-in-a-generation warriors must train for all outcomes.”
If you’re not too fussed about the Zuri skin or the Enchanted Featherfighters back bling, there’s also the Empowered DHA harvesting tool, sold separately for 800 V-Bucks.
Its description claims it “Radiates the celestial aura of champions past,” which sounds very fancy indeed.
Zuri Tattoo Contest & Alternative Style
As part of Zuri’s announcement blog post, Epic Games also revealed that there’d be a Zuri tattoo competition that fans can enter via social media. By following @FortniteGames on Twitter or @Fortnite on Instagram and posting your original tattoo design for Zuri, you’ll be in with a chance to have your design digitized as a tattoo for an alternate style for Zuri.
For coming up with the creation, you’ll also get the skin for free, and $2,500 cash, which is certainly nothing to be snuffed at.
Players must be 13 or over to participate in the competition and entries must be submitted between May 15, at 8pm ET and May 22, at 11:59pm ET. Each participant can only submit one entry. You can read the full, official Zuri Tattoo Contest rules here.
