At one point in Chapter 2 of Ghostwire Tokyo, after going underground and fighting one of the main masked figures, KK will get taken from Akito. This leaves Akito without any powers or Spectral Vision. Here’s how to escape the underground and get KK back in Ghostwire Tokyo.
How to Escape the Underground & Get KK Back in Ghostwire Tokyo
- To escape the underground, head immediately to the left and up the ladder all the way to the top.
Once you get up the ladder go to the left and then right, hugging the wall all the way until you reach a door that leads to a spiral staircase with a tube going up it.
- Follow the tube up and take out the enemies with stealth Quick Purge or your bow.
Fighting them will prove difficult without your Ethereal Weaving, so I recommend stealth. Defeat the two enemies quietly and climb up the ladder to get outside. Head to the objective, KK’s safe house.
- Once there, you’ll meet Rinko, a former member of his group. Pick up the note from Rinko on the computer table and you’ll learn about Thicket Talismans.
Follow the black line that connects you to KK’s trail. Use Thicket Talismans to stay hidden.
- When you reach the area he’s being held, sneak around and purge the enemies while also taking advantage of Thickets for cover.
Go into the shrine and watch a cutscene and KK and your powers will be returned to you.
