How to Find Arachnid Man (The Falling Man) in Lost Judgment
At some point in Chapter 3 of the story, Tsukumo walks Yagami through the new Buzz Researcher app on his phone, which pinpoints locations of mysteries and cases using chatter messages. After a brief walkthrough on how to use keywords in this app, Tsukumo gives Yagami a Noise Amp gadget. Once you get this, you’ll be tasked with finding the Arachnid Man.
Head over to the waypoint that was marked while searching through Buzz Research and press L3 to enter observation mode. Once here, press R1 to scroll over to the Noise Amp. Focus with R2 and look up at the spot below.
Zooming in on the falling man will trigger a new side mission called The Falling Man. Parkour up the side of the building using X to jump then Circle to climb. Be sure to rest on this ledge after the first objective marker if you don’t have enough parkour stamina yet.
Once you save him, you’ll eventually talk to him and find his story is fishy. Press L3 to go into observation mode and go behind him to see he’s stolen some pink panties. Fight and defeat the wanna-be Panty Professor and you’ll have completed the mission.

- Complete the Buzz Researcher tutorial in Chapter 3.
- When you get the Noise Amp from Tsukumo, head to the waypoint on the map.
- Press L3 to enter observation mode, then scroll using R1 to select the Noise Amp.
- Look up and you’ll see a man dangling from the apartment building ledges.
- Parkour up the building and save him.
- Once on the ground, investigate behind his back and zoom in on the panties in his pocket.
- Confront and defeat him in a fight.
