How Long Deathloop Takes to Beat

Deathloop: How Long It Takes to Beat

Deathloop is a first-person immersive-sim experience similar to Arkane Studios’ other acclaimed games of the same genre, such as Dishonored and Prey, the lineage of which is certainly felt. The overall design, though, is very different as there aren’t conventional levels but different regions of a single island that players repeat over and over again as they piece together the game’s story. If you’re wondering how long it takes to beat Deathloop, here’s what you need to know.

How Long it Takes to Beat Deathloop

For Twinfinite’s review playthrough, it took around 15-18 hours to roll credits for Deathloop. That included a fair bit of additional exploration to check out the ‘Arsenal Leads’ across all four regions in order to get a flavor for all the different weapons as items, in addition to the main ‘Visionary Leads’ and a fair whack of ‘Discoveries’ to work through the overarching story.

Also, we spent at least an hour or two playing the multiplayer ‘Protect the Loop’ gameplay mode, which involves playing as Julianna to invade other people’s games and kill their version of Colt.

You could, however, spend even longer really investigating and exploring everything in each region of Blackreef; the level design features so many hidden areas and secret passageways you won’t find on even the second, third, and fourth pass. What’s more, you might find you really enjoy the multiplayer and therefore get several more hours out of the game after beating the story and rerunning each region.

That’s everything there is to know about how long Deathloop takes to beat. For more tips and tricks on the game, do be sure to check out Twinfinite’s detailed wiki page. You should also see some related content below that may prove useful.
