Sometimes when your companions fail missions, they will be caught. When this happens, they’re sent to a special area called Jail Base. If you want to return your friends to your party, Igor has to head over to this spot and save them.

The first thing you’re going to want to do is to grab your gear. Sneak around Jail Base until you hear guards talking about your equipment. Once you do, your gear will then be marked on the map. Pick up your stuff and Igor can now focus on his companions.

Once you’ve got your gear, look at your map to locate each character that is jailed. Make your way over to each person and speak with them to free them now that you have your Portal Generator back.

You just need to rinse and repeat this process for every character that finds themselves in Jail Base in order to return them to The Refuge. While you’re at this spot, don’t forget to look around for plenty of valuable items and resources as well.

To return to base yourself, simply pull out the Portal Generator and use it yourself.
