How to Check Mental Notes in NEO: The World Ends With You
Mental Notes are essentially reminders of your current objective, and the main protagonist, Rindo, will often update his thoughts as you progress in the story and encounter new characters.
Simply press L1 on PlayStation or L on Switch to check Rindo’s thoughts to see what you should be doing at any given point in time while walking around either the Underground or Realground. This will bring up a list of missions inside of thought bubbles.
You can also press Triangle to bring up the entire menu and go to the Mental Notes section found under the Thoughts tab.
Both main missions and side missions will be listed when you check Mental Notes in NEO: The World Ends With You. And thankfully, all missions will update themselves as you collect new information while completing them.
Rindo basically takes notes for you when it comes to puzzles and other tasks, which is extremely helpful in this game. He also has “???” thought bubbles for side missions that haven’t been discovered yet on any given day. Select those thought bubbles to see the location you need to check to find those side missions.
