Monster Hunter Stories 2: Where to Get Duskshrooms

Developed and published by Capcom, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is the latest MonHun game releasing for the Nintendo Switch this month. Unlike the other games in the mainline series, this is a turn-based JRPG with a big story focus and plenty of side quests to do. Some of those can be a little obtuse, though, so we’re here to help you out. Here’s where to get Duskshrooms in Monster Hunter Stories 2.

Getting Duskshrooms in Monster Hunter Stories 2

One of the earliest side quests you can get in the game tasks you with obtaining five Duskshrooms. The quest info only states that these mushrooms will spawn at night, with no other leads to go off of.

With that in mind, leave the village and set the clock to evening when you head out. Now, all you have to do is find the mushrooms in question. The one thing to note is that they’re bright red and they can be found on the ground, and we managed to find some scattered around the ground, next to the rock walls leading out of the village.

Once you’ve picked those up, head up to the Overlook where you found the dungeon housing the Kulu Ya-Ku and you should find some along the trail leading towards the dungeon, as well as inside the dungeon itself. Just make sure to check along the base of the wall as you go through the dungeon so you don’t miss any.

Once you’ve gotten at least five Duskshrooms, head back to the village and turn them in. This is actually a repeatable quest that you can take on over and over via the quest board as well, so it’s definitely worth your time to pick up as many as possible for some easy money and experience if you need it.

That’s all you need to know about where to get Duskshrooms in Monster Hunter Stories 2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
