The Fortnite LeBron James skin has finally been announced, arriving in the game just before the release of the basketball icon’s upcoming movie Space Jam: A New Legacy. The skin will be the latest addition to the ‘Icon’ series, and comes with a variety of styles and back blings. How to Get LeBron James in Fortnite
The LeBron James skin will be available to buy from the Item Shop. There will be two separate outfits, both equipped with LeBron’s upcoming signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 19.
The first style — the King James Gear Bundle — will highlight LeBron’s off-the-court look, with stylish jackets and flashy lion shoulder pads. It also comes with the lion pickaxe, the wingspan glider and The Silencer emote mimicking the king’s classic on-the-court celebration.
The second style is Tune Squad LeBron, based off the iconic baller’s look in the upcoming movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Included in this outfit will be LeBron’s Taco Tuesday style Variant and Pack Supreme Back Bling.
Both outfits will be available individually or you can buy ‘The King James Bundle’ to get both pairs of outfits and back blings, and includes the Court’s in Session loading screen.
At the moment, Epic Games has not announced how much either outfit or the bundle will cost. Based on previous premium skins, you’re likely looking around the 2,000 V-Bucks mark.
The LeBron James Fortnite skins will arrive in the Item Shop on Wednesday, July 14 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT/ 11pm BST.
Can You Get the LeBron James Skin for Free?
With some previous special skins, Epic Games has announced a cup that rewards the top-performing players in each region with the new skin for free.
At this moment in time, Epic Games has yet to announce that a LeBron James Cup will be taking place in the game at any point. While this could change in future, previously, Epic Games has announced any opportunities to get skins for free alongside the announcement post. As such, it seems unlikely we’ll be able to get LeBron James for free in Fortnite.
