After a long wait, we’re finally getting a Pokemon Snap successor in the form of New Pokemon Snap, which has just been released for the Nintendo Switch. Just like in the original game, you’ll be able to explore various different levels while taking pictures of Pokemon, and you’ll also be able to take on special requests. If your requests aren’t working properly in New Pokemon Snap, however, or if you’re unable to turn in photos, here’s how to fix it.
How to Fix Requests Not Working Issue in New Pokemon Snap
Every so often, you can take on requests at the lab before heading out to take more photos in the wild. However, you may find that even if you feel like you’ve taken a photo that matches the requirements of the quest you took on, you still won’t be able to mark that request as complete.
It’s possible that this may be a bug with the game, but more likely than not, you simply have to check a few things first.
First off, if you already have a photo that meets the requirements of a request you just took on, you won’t be able to immediately submit it for evaluation. You’ll have to take a separate photo that also meets those requirements and turn that in instead.
Secondly, when submitting photos for request, try selecting your photo manually to send it in for evaluation. Simply relying on the auto-select function may interfere with quest completion, so it’s better to select it manually to confirm that you’ve completed the request.
And finally, it’s entirely possible that you may not have met the request requirements when submitting your photo. Try checking the objectives of the request again, or use Burst Mode so that you can take multiple photos quickly to make sure you get the shot you need.
That’s all you need to know about how to fix the issue with requests not working in New Pokemon Snap. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
