Fortunately for you, we’ve got all the answers you’re looking for. Read on to find out what this challenge requires, the quickest way to unlock it, and more.

How to Get the Tactician Trophy and Achievement in Mass Effect 2

To unlock the Tactician Trophy and Achievement in Mass Effect 2, you’ll need to hit 20 different enemies with two different biotic powers, resulting in a new effect that damages them further.

This is easier said than done though, as most biotic powers will send your enemies flying after they’re hit. Compounding this is the fact that different effects won’t always trigger, either due to timing or the enemy dying before you can add in the second ability.

Fortunately, the challenge isn’t confined to abilities used by Shepard alone. You can combine powers from Shepard and one of your squad members, or combine the powers of both of your squad members.

With all this in mind, there is a very easy way to get the trophy and achievement quickly. Assign Jacob and Miranda to your party, and then head to an area with enemies to fight. Once you find some, use Jacob’s Pull ability to cause an enemy to float. Once they’re in the air, have Miranda use her Warp ability on them. This will cause a new effect in the form of a biotic energy explosion.

So long as the timing was right, the progress tracker for the Trophy and Achievement should pop up. Rinse and repeat this process, and before long you’ll have completed the challenge with minimal headaches.
