How to Catch Sandfish in Nier Replicant

Sandfish can be caught by fishing in the sandsea near Facade. More specifically, you’ll need to fish for them at the dock that’s located at the spot where you use the fast travel boat. That’s the only place where you’ll find Sandfish. You’ll need to use either the Lure or Earthworms as bait to get them to bite.

Nier Replicant How to Catch Sandfish

Nier Replicant is full of different fish, so once you start fishing for Sandfish, you’ll need to press Circle after the first nibble to get the right result. The Sandfish will steal your bait if you wait too long to reel in your catch. If you wait for the third bite, it’ll bring in a piece of junk instead.

Once you start reeling it in, you’ll need to pull the left analog stick toward you, in the opposite direction of the ripples in the sandsea. For example, if the fish is in front of you, pull back on the stick. If it’s to your right, pull back and to the left.
