Loop Hero: How to Get the Orb of Expansion

Loop Hero is the latest indie RPG that’s been tearing up the Steam charts since its release last week. The game centers around a hero who ventures out on a map that loops around itself, gathering resources and fighting enemies as they get tougher with each passing loop. Here’s how to get the Orb of Expansion in Loop Hero.

Loop Hero can be pretty tough and unforgiving in the early hours, but by playing slowly and gathering resources, you can build new structures in your camp and upgrade them to make things easier on yourself. One of the resources you’ll need for the camp is called the Orb of Expansion, and it’s one of the trickier ones to get.

Getting the Orb of Expansion in Loop Hero

To obtain an Orb of Expansion, you need to beat a single combat encounter with at least five enemies on the tile. This is not an easy thing to accomplish, and you’ll need to organize your cards and tiles properly to make it happen.

The easiest way to do this is by getting the Village card after building the Gymnasium structure at camp, and placing it next to a Vampire’s Mansion on the map. This will allow you to spawn four ghoul enemies and a vampire on a single tile, giving you a chance of obtaining an Orb of Expansion if you emerge victorious.

Make sure you’re properly geared for it as it won’t be an easy fight, and having good regen and vampirism stats will help to keep you healthy. The more enemies there are on a tile, the higher your chances are of getting an Orb, but we don’t recommend doing that until you’ve gotten a few more upgrades under your belt.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Orb of Expansion in Loop Hero. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
