Persona 5 Strikers: How to Change Personas

Developed by Omega Force and Atlus, Persona 5 Strikers is a musou-style Persona game with hack-and-slash combat. That might not be the genre combination you were expecting or even hoping for, but if you give it a shot, you might find that this game surprisingly retains a lot of its Persona DNA, and some of it is incorporated into the combat system as well. Here’s how to change Personas in Persona 5 Strikers.

Changing Personas in Persona 5 Strikers

Similar to the mainline Persona games, the main protagonist has the ability to hold more than one Persona at a time, and even switch between them during battle. This is important, as every Persona comes equipped with a different set of skills and attributes, and using them effectively is key to doing well in battle.

Whereas in the mainline games you would need to use up a turn to switch to a different Persona, Strikers is much more liberal.

First off, you can change Joker’s Persona simply by entering the menu with the + or Options button, then navigate to the Persona option, and select the one you want to equip on him.

However, you can also switch them on the fly during battle as well. When in combat, hold the L1 or L button to access your skills, then use the d-pad and press left or right to switch over to your next available Persona. Once you’ve found the one you want, press up and down on the d-pad to select a skill and use it immediately in combat.

The process is instantaneous, so you can switch between them freely without having to worry about any delay.

That’s all you need to know about how to change Personas in Persona 5 Strikers. For more on the game, check out our Persona 5 Strikers wiki.
