Persona 5 Strikers: How to Change Difficulty

Persona 5 Strikers is a direct continuation of the P5 story, and it’s available on PS4, Switch, and PC. Unlike the original game, however, Strikers makes use of musou-style combat instead of a turn-based RPG system, though the core of the game is still intact. You’ll still be exploring Palaces and buying weapons and equipment while hanging out with your teammates. Here’s how to change the difficulty in Persona 5 Strikers.

Changing the Difficulty in Persona 5 Strikers

While musou-style games don’t seem all that challenging at first glance, they can get pretty tricky as you get into the later stages of the game when enemies start to get more aggressive. Strikers, in particular, also has quite a few combat mechanics for players to familiarize themselves with, and the gameplay feels a lot more nuanced as a result.

If you’re not actively exploiting enemy weaknesses and using all-out attacks, or changing your Personas when necessary, you’re going to have a pretty hard time with this game. Thankfully, you’re also able to change the difficulty settings any time you want.

To do this, bring up the menu with the + or Options button, then select Options. From there, choose Config, and you should see a difficulty setting in the list. You can then use the d-pad to select your desired difficulty: Easy, Normal, and Hard.

We recommend playing on the default Normal difficulty, but if you’re having too much trouble, bumping it down to Easy will give you an easier time, and you can enjoy the story without worrying too much about combat. On the flip side, if you find the game to be a breeze, bumping it up to Hard should make things a lot more challenging.

You can change the difficulty any time you want as well, so you can experiment with the different settings and see which one suits you best.

That’s all you need to know about how to change difficulty in Persona 5 Strikers. For more on the game, check out our Persona 5 Strikers wiki.
