The Oculus Quest 2 virtual headset is here, and with it a more technologically advanced method for immersing yourself in gameplay. This most certainly applies to the game Roblox, but if you’re like most players, you’ve probably had some trouble loading up the game on the new hardware. Fortunately, we’ve done the leg work and constructed a guide on how to get Roblox on Oculus Quest 2.
How to Get Roblox on Oculus Quest 2
There are few steps you’ll need to complete in order to get Roblox up and running on your Oculus Quest 2, and most of them relate to adjusting your computer settings.
First, download the Oculus app to your computer and launch it. Go to the General Settings tab of the app, and enable to Unknown Sources option.
Once you’ve done this, connect the Oculus Quest 2 headset to your computer with the Oculus Link Cable. Boot the headset up, and then you’ll see two prompts that require your approval. These prompts are related to allowing the headset to access features of your computer necessary to use the Oculus.
After you accept both, the Oculus should be connected properly. You can then download and play Roblox on it by purchasing it through your digital retailer of choice and launching it with your computer.
How to Enable Full VR Play with Roblox
However, you’ll still need to ensure the game is properly calibrated for play with the Oculus. To do so, launch the game and then go to the Settings tab from the main menu. Look for the option to enable VR and make sure it’s turned on.
Once it is, you’ll be able to play the game with full VR functionality using your new headset.
