With the arrival of Fortnite’s new season, The Zero Point have been unearthed and the stars of The Mandalorian are here to join the fight. Alongside them, new map changes are here to be explored, challenges are here to be completed, and a new battle pass is here to be worked through. So that you can get the skins it offers, here’s everything you need to know about how to get Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass in Fortnite.
Once again, the battle pass works in the usual way, seeing you earn XP as you play which sees you level up through the 100 tiers and unlock various skins and other cosmetics. While recent seasons have lasted longer with overtime, you’ll have a minimum of ten weeks to reach the cap and unlock all that’s on offer.
How to Get Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass
To get the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 battle pass you’ll need to purchase V-Bucks if you don’t already have some in your account. 1000 V-Bucks is enough to get the basic pack. You’ll likely have earned some from last season’s battle pass, so you can just buy however many you need.
Once you’ve got some, head over to the battle pass tab and press X if you’re on PlayStation (A on Xbox) to select the pass itself. Then, you’ll be given the chance to choose what version you want.
If you want the standard version, it’ll cost you 950 V-Bucks, but you have some other options that reduce the grind. The Battle Bundle is now gone, but you’re able to buy 25 tiers at any time from the store, so you can still get a head start if you want, the purchases will just be separate.
Then, once you’ve confirmed the purchase, an animation will play to show what you’ve unlocked already from the Chapter 2 Season 5 battle pass and you’ll be able to head off to the island to try and complete challenges.
