Cyberpunk 2077: Are There Cheats? Answered

Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived, finally, and players are able to hop in to the neon-soaked streets of Night City and start their new life in this dystopian future. Hey, at least Keanu Reeves and Hideo Kojima are there too though, right? Anyway, if you’re here you’re probably wondering if Cyberpunk 2077 has any cheats or cheat codes that you can use to make your life any easier. Here’s what you need to know.

Cheat Codes in Cyberpunk 2077

So as of right now at launch, there doesn’t appear to be any cheat codes for any version of Cyberpunk 2077, this includes PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC. Presumably this will also include PS5 and Xbox Series X and Series S when they all get their versions.

While this is not terribly surprising for home consoles players, PC players might be a bit disappointed. Console players are used to cheat codes being a thing of the past for generations now at this point. Companies would rather sell you a shortcut than just give it away for free.

Many popular PC games, though, still have console commands as a way to break the game and give themselves an edge, so it might be a bit of a bummer to see it not exist in Cyberpunk 2077.

That said, it could be added later on, or perhaps there will be mod support that allows you to screw around and use cheat codes in Cyberpunk 2077. All that is unconfirmed at the moment, but it’s more of a possibility on PC than it is on consoles at the moment.
