Yakuza Like a Dragon is finally out in the West, and with it an experience that blends Yakuza with JRPG elements for a match made in heaven. Case in point: The game’s summons allow you to call in characters from the series’ history for help, including the Mad Dog of Dojima himself. It’s a summon we know you’d like to get sooner than later, which is why we’re here with a guide how to get the Majima summon in Yakuza Like a Dragon. (Warning: Minor Spoilers Ahead)
How to Get the Majima Summon in Yakuza Like a Dragon
Getting the Majima summon in Yakuza Like a Dragon is easier than you’d expect, thanks to the fact that it’s an unmissable summon tied to the main story.
Near the end of the game, you’ll confront Majima and Saejima in a rather difficult boss fight. Once you defeat them, you’ll be treated to some major story developments wherein you’ll need to team up with the two former Tojo Clan members in a bid to take on the game’s big bad.
Following the cutscenes that reveal these revelations, you’ll be notified that both Majima and Saejima are now available via Poundmates for summoning into battle.
As for what the Majima summon does in Yakuza Like a Dragon, it’s about as impressive as you’d expect.
For the high cost of Â¥1,000,000, Majima can be called in day or night to rain down copies of his trademark blade on multiple foes. They carry electricity damage with them, and should the attack not kill the enemy out-right, there’s a chance that it’ll paralyze them for a short period afterward.
