Watch Dogs Legion is the third main entry in Ubisoft’s open world sci-fi series, and it features a fascinating gameplay mechanic that allows you to recruit almost any NPC you find in the game and add them to your DedSec roster. However, there are still some limitations in place here. If you’re wondering whether you can recruit the queen in Watch Dogs Legion, here’s what you need to know.
Can You Recruit the Queen in Watch Dogs Legion?
To get straight to the point, no, you cannot recruit the queen in Watch Dogs Legion. You can certainly visit Buckingham Palace, which is a guarded restricted area in Ubisoft’s vision of near-future London, but you won’t actually be able to profile her and ask her to join your cause.
In fact, all you can do is recruit the queen’s guard and take control of them, and you’ll be able to get into Buckingham Palace without rousing any suspicion, but that’s about it. It’s also possible to dress up certain operatives on your roster to make them look like Queen Elizabeth II, but that’s as close as it gets. The actual person herself cannot become a part of DedSec.
In fact, Ubisoft themselves tweeted to say that this isn’t possible in the game.
It’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility that she could become a playable character in future DLC releases, but for now, you’ll just have to settle for the regular citizens you come across in the open world. We wouldn’t really hold our breath for a DLC like that either, but we’ll update this article if anything changes.
That’s all you need to know about whether you can recruit the queen in Watch Dogs Legion. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
