Demon’s Souls can be a pretty challenging game, but if you ever find yourself in a particularly tough situation that you don’t feel you can handle alone, you could always summon another player into your world and have them give you some assistance.

After reaching the Nexus and meeting the Monumental, talk to the Maiden in Black again and you’ll receive the Blue-Eye Stone. This is the item that allows you to leave your summon sign on the ground, and other players will be able to summon you to their world.

First, if you’d like to summon a friend to your world, go to your Network Settings in-game and set a password, then give that password to your friend. Once they’ve entered the password in their own settings, they can use the Blue Eye Stone and leave their summon sign on the ground. Make sure that you and your friend are in the same location.

Another thing to note is that you need to be in human form in order to see summon signs. Either use a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes or defeat a boss to regain human form, and you should be able to see your friend’s sign. Interact with it and summon them, and they’ll arrive in your world ready to help you with any challenges you’re facing.

If you just want to be summoned by random players, or invite them to your world, remove the password restriction in your settings and you’ll be able to see signs from anyone who’s currently online and has left their sign on the ground.

That’s all you need to know about how to play online co-op and multiplayer with friends in Demon’s Souls. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
