Assassin’s Creed games have always done a great job of coloring real historical settings with exciting fictional stories, but recently they’ve been going one step further. Since Origins, and then Odyssey, Ubisoft has been weaving mythology into Assassin’s Creed, and Valhalla is no different. Here’s how to get to Asgard in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
How to Get to Asgard in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Eivor can travel between the real world and Asgard, the home of the Norse gods, by drinking a hallucinogenic potion prepared by Valka the Seer, which forms part of a side quest storyline about 10 hours into the game.
Specifically, it is after players have reached Settlement Level 4 and had Valka arrive by ship to join their settlement. After helping gather some herbs for a potion, Valka asks Eivor to drink it and embrace his visions.
There is a questline within Asgard to follow, but after you’ve done the first part of it, you’ll be able to come and go as you please.
Be warned, though, Asgard is a Power Level 90 area, and we do not recommend attempting to go there until you’re at least Power Level 60.
As for Asgard itself, it’s a separate mini open-world area with its own collectibles and points of interest that offers a cool change of scene from Norway and England.
How to Leave Asgard in AC Valhalla
When you wish to leave Asgard, simply hover over the little eye emblem on the map and press X (or equivalent button) to “Wake up.”
Can You Go Back to Asgard?
It is possible to return to Asgard at any time. All you need to do is head back inside the Seer’s tent and drink the Asgard potion once again.
