In addition to having a competitive multiplayer mode to keep you busy for the long term, there’s also a story campaign you can playthrough. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering if there’s a new game plus in Star Wars Squadrons that can extend or enhance your experience after you beat the campaign. Here’s what you need to know.

Star Wars Squadrons New Game Plus

Let’s cut right to the chase, there is no new game plus in Star Wars Squadrons. While there is a campaign mode to play through, the long tail of this particular title will be the competitive multiplayer mode.

Developer Motive Studios and EA have spent time developing what they are hoping will be a compelling multiplayer component that will keep flight combat and Star Wars fans occupied in the long run. You’ll work together with other players across different classes of ships to complete objectives and hold off an opposing the team from taking you out.

The campaign is part of the package too but because it’s not the sole focus of Star Wars Squadron, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of other campaigns in games that are more single-player focused such as a new game plus. That isn’t to say it’s not quality or anything like that, but that’s the reality of this particular situation.

Considering the nonexistent state of the campaign in the first of the relaunched Battlefront games, Star Wars fans should be happy that there’s an even a campaign at all.
