The most recent game in The Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope, is now here, and fans can get right into this new game that ditches a nautical theme for a Blair Witch-like vibe while keeping the same kind of gameplay from previous games. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering how to play online multiplayer with friends in Little Hope. Here’s everything you need to know to set that up.
How to Play Online Multiplayer With Friends in Little Hope
Little Hope, like last year’s game in the Anthology, Man of Medan, does allow for online multiplayer play in addition to local play that is done with others you happen to be hanging out with.
The way to get this going is similar but with some different terminology. All you need to do is from the main menu, go ahead and select Don’t Play Alone. This is just fancy and spooky code for multiplayer in Little Hope.
From there, go ahead and select Shared Story. Again, this is Little Hope’s code for online multiplayer.
From here, you’ll be able to invite another player into your lobby by pressing X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to bring up your friend’s list. At this point, you can then select from the checkpoints available to you and continue on your story while taking turns controlling different characters.
There isn’t any way to play with total strangers or be match-made into a Little Hope game. You’ll need to invite someone from your friend’s list to play online in Little Hope.
That’s all you need to know for how to play online multiplayer with friends in Little Hope, the latest in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Hopefully this helped and that you are able to enjoy a nice night or two with friends engaging in some witchy spooks.
