NBA 2K21 is out now and lots of what you know and loved (and possibly loathed) is back in familiar form. Arguably the most popular game mode, MyCareer, is back and filled with things to do and buy. While you generally rise up the ranks through high school and college, you can also just go ahead and skip the prelude in NBA 2K21 and go right on ahead to the NBA. Here’s how to do just that.
How to Skip the Prelude in NBA 2K21
Skipping the prelude in NBA 2K21 will jump you right from the start of MyCareer, past high school and college, and right into the NBA. That way you can save yourself a few hours of gameplay if you’re not all that interested in starting from your early years and just want to dive right into being a pro and playing for your favorite teams.
To skip the prelude in NBA 2K21 all you need to do is first get through the initial set of cutscenes until you’re back at the main menu for MyCareer. This takes a bit but you can always skip the cutscenes if you truly don’t care about any of it. If you’re skipping ahead to the NBA there’s a good chance you don’t.
Once you’re past all that, go ahead and go to Neighborhood option in the Menun. Follow the prompts over to skipping the prelude and going directly to the NBA. You’ll get one final warning and if you want to proceed go ahead and you’ll have fully skipped the prelude in NBA 2K21.
That’s pretty much all you need to know about how to skip the prelude in NBA 2K21. Keep in mind there is no going back unless you wanted to start all over so don’t make this decision lightly.
