Genshin Impact has finally launched, and with it a free-to-play experience ripe with equipment to find, items to uncover and rewards to earn for completing specific tasks. Some are even exclusives given to you for playing the game on a specific platform. How to Claim Exclusive Rewards in Genshin Impact
Claiming exclusive rewards in Genshin Impact isn’t that hard to pull off, but you’ll need to access a part of the game’s menu that isn’t expressly shown to you.
To reach it, open the main menu by pressing the Options Button and then scroll to the left with the left analog stick. Then, scroll down to the Mail tab, found in the center of your available options. Select the tab, and then you’ll be taken to a new menu where you can select messages from the developers which contain bonus items and cosmetics.
Among the messages, you should see a message marked “Exclusive Rewards” near the bottom. Select it with the X Button, and you’ll then press the Triangle Button to claim whichever reward is tied to your platform of choice.
What Exclusive Rewards Are Offered to Which Consoles
As for what all of the Exclusive Rewards are in Genshin Impact, they range from an eye-catching aesthetic to a useful weapon.
PlayStation 4 players are given a special cosmetic and a special weapon for the starting character, dubbed the “Wings of Descension” and “Sword of Descension” respectively. This is in addition to other bonuses offered to players across all platforms, which include lump sums of many of the game’s currencies, food items and pre-cooked meals for use as restoratives.
It’s unclear whether the eventual Nintendo Switch port will have similar Exclusive Rewards, but we’ll update this guide accordingly should any be revealed before the version’s launch.
