Getting Training Points in Madden 21

Training Points are what you’re going to use to improve your players stats and capabilities on the field. A higher-ranked player with better stats is going to play better, so Training Points are imperative to having the strongest squad you possibly can in Madden 21. Down below, we’ve listed all the ways you can get Training Points.

Complete MUT Challenges

As was the case last year, one of the best and easiest ways to get Training Points is to complete the various challenges in Madden 21’s MUT. The more you complete, the more Training Points you’ll rack up to spend on your team.

There’s a handful of solo challenges you’ll be able to complete already to give yourself a headstart, so we’d advise starting there for a quick and easy boost.

Superstar KO

The Superstar KO game mode is another great place to quickly earn yourself some Training Points.

All you need to do in this mode is complete a certain gameplay-related challenge to get a reward. These change up each week, so make sure that you’re checking back and completing these frequently for a fresh source of Training Points.

At the time of writing, players can get themselves a KO NAT 85 OVR Lamar Jackson, which can then be sold if it doesn’t fit your team for some Training Points. If you choose to keep him, you can hardly complain at that for a reward this early on in the season.

Just Play the Game

One of the easiest ways to earn yourself Training Points is to simply play the game. Daily activities and challenges can give you small amounts of these points, so always be sure to check what’s available to you to complete.

Madden 21 Training Explained

If you’re unfamiliar with how training works in Madden 21, we’ll explain it here. In Madden 21’s Ultimate Team, Training Points are another form of currency alongside Coins. These can be used to upgrade players that you’ve already got the cards for.

To use Training Points, bring up your Madden Ultimate Team lineup and press X on Xbox One or Square to open up the Options menu. If you’ve got enough points, you’ll be able to select the ‘Upgrade’ option, which will then take you to a breakdown of that character’s stats and abilities.

What you can then do with Training Points varies from player to player depending on their stats and abilities. Some may unlock new abilities, while others may simply see their OVR rating increase. Take the time to figure out how best to spend Training Points on your team.
