When you start off on your charming Ooblets quest on the mainland of Oob, you’ll only have a very limited amount of inventory space. This is where your consumables, seeds, and other items will be stored, such as your hoe and watering can. Of course, the more you play, the easier it’s going to be to quickly run out of space in your inventory. Fortunately, there is a way to increase inventory size in Ooblets, and it even comes in a fashionable form, too!
How to Increase Inventory Size in Ooblets
If you head towards your farm on the west side of town, look out for the shop with the weird cat creature as a sign. It’s called Kibbonbon.
Once you’re inside, you’ll find a Basic Bum Bag glistening on the back row of items, closest to the teller. Walk on over to it and you’ll see that it costs 250 Gummies to buy.
The problem is, Gummies can be pretty hard to get your hands on towards the beginning of Ooblets if you’re not too familiar with it.
The best way to get yourself some Gummies is to head over to the trailer on the northeast side of town. Head in, fix up the Ooblet Scanner and then bring new species of Ooblets here to get scanned. You’ll get 50 Gummies for every Ooblet you bring to be scanned. There’s easily five different Ooblet species milling around the town, so challenge them to a dance, beat them and take their seed, and then grow it.
The Basic Bum Bag increases your inventory by a fair amount. At this moment in time, it remains to be seen whether there will be even more Bum Bags that will further increase inventory size in Ooblets. We’ll update this post and let you know when we do.
