For those who particularly enjoy playing as a samurai in Ghost of Tsushima, there are a number of different armor sets that offer boosts to Jin’s performance in combat. That includes Gosaku’s Armor, but to get it you’ll have to go on a bit of a mission. Here are all the Gosaku Armor key locations in Ghost of Tsushima.
Before you embark on the quest to get Gosaku’s Armor, you’ll first need to activate the Mythic Tale its associate with. It’s called The Unbreakable Gosaku and is available from the musician in Akashima Village, which itself is located on the southern end of Tsushima’s northern island.
Gosaku Armor Key Locations in Ghost of Tsushima
Now that you’ve been given your instructions, it’s time to locate the six pieces of armor scattered around Tsushima. Essentially, this is a hostage rescue quest. You’ll need to visit six different farmsteads: Aoi, Iijima, Kuta, Koshimizu, Ohama, and Yagata.
Below you can see the map location for each village.
Aoi
There are three hostages to rescue in Aoi. The bonus objective is to kill an enemy from above, which is very simple.
Iijima
There are four hostages to rescue here. As always, the last one will give you the key.
Kuta
There are three hostages here, with the bonus objective to kill five enemies without taking damage. To achieve the latter, be sure to use a stealthy approach from the rooftops.
Koshimizu
Rescue the three hostages to receive the key. Liberating the entire farmstead is an option, but who can resist slaughtering a few more Mongols?
Ohama
Ohama Fishing Village is located in the very south-western corner of Tsushima’s southern island. As with other locations, you’ll simply need to rescue three hostages to receive the Gosaku key. There’s an optional bonus activity to kill five enemies without taking any damage.
Yagata
There are three hostages to rescue at Yagata Farmstead, with an optional objective to kill a Mongol using a Sticky Bomb.
Once you have all six keys to Gosaku’s Armor you’ll be able to visit its location and receive the set. As you can see above, its most useful trait is its ability to more effectively stagger enemies, which also generates health for Jin. If you’re a whizz at switching stances and staggering enemies effectively then this armor is going to be a trump card in your arsenal.
That should be everything you need to know about all Gosaku’s Armor locations in Ghost of Tsushima. For more useful tips and information on the game, check out Twinfinite’s extensive guide wiki.
