Today D3 Publisher hosted a new livestream showing off its upcoming games from the Earth Defense Force series.
First of all, we take an extensive look at Earth Defense Force 6, which still doesn’t have an official platform (but is semi-confirmed to at least coming on PlayStation).
Secondly, we get a trailer of Earth Defense Force 3, which will launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 14, 2021.
It’s a port of Earth Defense Force 3 Portable for PS Vita, which was itself a port of Earth Defense Force 2017 for Xbox 360.

At the moment, neither game has an announced western release, but D3 Publisher has been doing a good job at localizing its games, so there is certainly hope.
It’s worth mentioning that, while Earth Defense Force 6 doesn’t have any confirmed platform, PlayStation published its previous trailer, so it’s likely that it’ll at least come for PS5 or PS4.
