The Wet Suit is a new item in New Horizons that must be bought from the Nooklings at their store Nook’s Cranny once the game has been updated to version 1.3.0. It won’t be one of the items out on display; you can find it by going into the cabinet where the tools and seeds are for sale.
Each day, there will be a different pattern suit for sale. Each one costs 3,000 Bells. All of them have the same function; they just come in different colors and designs.
Alternatively, there is a special black and green Nook Inc. Wet Suit that can be purchased for 800 Nook Miles at the Nook Stop in Resident Services. Again, this has the same function as the others, but it has a unique look to it.
No matter how you purchased your suit, you must wear it before you can begin swimming. Select it in your inventory and choose to wear it. In case you were wondering, the suit cannot be assigned to a wand outfit.
