Increasing Courage

Raising Courage is pretty straightforward compared to some other social quality stats in Persona 4 Golden. A sneaky way to raise Courage though includes eating the rotten food in the Fridge which you should always do when given the opportunity.
This is because there aren’t a ton of ways to raise Courage unlike something like Knowledge or Understanding which you can level up every day if you wanted to.
On a rainy day make sure to visit Aiya for a Courage boost by giving the Rainy Day Challenge a shot and/or read Courage books when you get them.

What You Need Courage For in Persona 4 Golden
You will need Courage to unlock two social links. The Moon social link, aka Ai (need rank 3). The final party members social link will require maxed out Courage and Knowledge to unlock. Assuming you want all your party members maxed out for maximum battle perks, definitely make sure you prioritize leveling up Courage over just about everything other than Knowledge as far as social quality stats go.
Courage will sometimes also provide you with some dialog options to help rank up social links a bit faster which is nice to have if you have it.
