In CoD WW2, your personal character rank isn’t the only thing you can prestige. Alongside your character leveling, every single primary and secondary weapon has its own rank.
How to Prestige Weapons in CoD WW2
The more you use a specific gun, the more it levels up. With each new rank, you unlock more attachments.
Weapons rank goes all the way up to rank 12. Once you reach this level with a weapon, head over to the Gunsmith in Headquarters and select the weapon you want to prestige.
This resets all of your unlocks, just like when you do it for your character. So why would you ever want to do it?
The benefit of weapon prestige is that you’ll unlock Clan Tag (Prestige 1) and Kill Counter (Prestige 2). While these may simply be cosmetic additions, they show off the time and effort you’ve put into the game, so to some, they’re definitely worth the grind.
