After the week 8 Deadpool challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2, players were able to unlock an unmasked style for this season’s special skin. With the week 9 Deadpool challenges, there’s now an X-Force skin variant up for grabs. To unlock this, you’re going to need to do two things. First, find the Fortnite Deadpool’s shorts location hiding in the Battle Pass screen, and then salute Deadpool’s pants. In this guide, we’ll talk you through where to find Deadpool’s shorts in Fortnite, as well as how to salute his pants afterwards.
Deadpool’s Shorts in Fortnite
Let’s cut right to the chase. As expected, Deadpool’s Shorts can be found in Midas’ room within the Battle Pass screen. Simply select the ‘Agents’ option in the top left-hand corner, and then go to Midas’ room.
The shorts are on the chair just to the left of Midas.
Simply select them with your mouse or analog stick and then interact with it to locate them and tick off the first part of the Deadpool week 9 challenges in Fortnite.
How to Salute Deadpool’s Pants in Fortnite
With the shorts located, the last thing you’ll need to do to unlock the Deadpool X-Force style is to salute his pants.
To do this, you’ll need to head into a game and head to the hotel in Sweaty Sands, marked with a red dot on the map below.
Here, at the highest point of the building (just above the stairway down in the southeast corner), you’ll find Deadpool’s pants waving in the wind. Land right next to it and you’ll be able to interact with them. Do so and you’ll give them a royal salute, completing the week 9 Deadpool challenges.
