How to Damage Logia-Type Enemies in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4

In terms of One Piece Pirate Warriors 4’s enemy types, Logia-Types are some of the trickiest to deal with.

Most boast the same strengths as bosses or high-level commanders, with super armor to prevent staggering and Shield Bars which decrease any actual damage dealt to said enemy until the bars are broken.

However, they also have special characteristics specific to their typing. They’re far more mobile, able to move around in a puff of smoke or pillar of flame, and take even less damage while their Shield Bars are active by turning into a pure version of whatever element they embody.

Fortunately, there are ways to get around these advantages and deal some real damage to them.

One key way is to lock onto them by pressing R3 on PlayStation 4 or RS on Xbox One. Doing so will allow you to home in on Logia-Types even when they’re flitting and flying around the battlefield, and allow you to land more hits than you otherwise might be able to.

You can also utilize counter attacks to deplete their Shield Bars as fast as possible. Like standard bosses, Logias have brief windows after missing with attacks where they’ll take increased damage from any blows you land on them.

Utilize either of these strategies, and before long you should be able to break through the Logia Types’ defenses and do some real damage to their actual health bar.

That’s about everything there is to know about how to damage Logia-Type enemies in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4. For more on the game, check out our guides on how to damage bosses and how to unlock the Free Log gameplay mode.
