Developed by Koei Tecmo and published by Sony this time around, Nioh 2 is a follow-up to the successful and critically acclaimed action RPG from 2017. There are quite a few new mechanics to be aware of in the sequel, but there are a few returning facilities as well. Here’s how to unlock the Hidden Teahouse in Nioh 2.
Unlocking the Hidden Teahouse in Nioh 2
The Hidden Teahouse was a facility that players could access in the original game, and it makes a return in Nioh 2 as well. Just like in the first game, this is a facility that focuses on the game’s online and PvP elements.
While here, you can join or create a Clan, and spend your Glory points on useful items for combat, as well as cosmetic items that can be used to decorate your Hut.
In order to unlock it, you’ll need to progress through the main story of Nioh 2. More specifically, you’ll be able to unlock it after clearing the first mission of the third region, which means you’ll need to sink a considerable amount of time into the game.
Once you’ve done so, the Hidden Teahouse will become available from the Starting Point menu on the world map. While you’re in between missions, you can head there to see how you can make use of the facility.
It’s definitely not necessary for story progression, but if you spend a lot of time accruing Glory points by defeating Revenants in your spare time, you’ll be able to make good use of it.
To recap, here’s how to unlock the Hidden Teahouse in Nioh 2:
- Play through the game until you clear the first story mission of the third region.
- While on the world map, select the Starting Point, then choose the Teahouse from that menu.
