Destiny 2’s new Season of the Worthy content is here and players are able to jump in and experience the new Rasputin-themed content, loot and activities… oh and I guess stop the Almighty from barreling into the Last City if you care about that. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering how to get Citan’s Ramparts, the new Titan exotic gauntlets added in Season of the Worthy. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Get Citan’s Ramparts in Destiny 2
In what appears to be a thing now since Shadowkeep and SoD, Season of the Worthy has added three new pieces of exotic armor, one for each class. Titans get Citan’s Ramparts in Season of the Worthy and it may arguably be the strongest of the three as it lets Tower Barricade actually do something. Like, actually do something.
Before we explain why Citan’s Ramparts is so good, let’s explain how to get it. This one is easy; like the exotic armor pieces from the last two seasons, Citan’s Ramparts is obtained as a random exotic world drop. You can more easily farm exotic engrams through high-power level Nightfall: The Ordeal activities or by opening year 3 raid chests. Alternatively, you can wait until you get some freebie exotic engrams from Season of the Worthy’s season pass.
Assault Barricade Exotic Perk
Citan’s Rampart is a very useful subclass neutral Titan exotic which dramatically changes the way Tower Barricades work. Its exotic perk, Assault Barricade allows you and your allies to shoot through the barricade at the expense of decreased barricade health and duration.
Assault Barricade incredibly powerful in both PvP and PvE. In PvP, having a big shield right in front of you that you can shoot through but your enemy can’t effectively gives you way more health in a straight long-range gunfight. Your enemy will essentially be forced to run away if they can’t easily get around your barricade unless they want to die.
In PvE, Citan’s Ramparts will be useful in any situation where you’re getting pelted and want a safe space for you and your team to fire off rounds without the risk of dying. This is very common in high-end PvE activities such as raids, and especially Nightfall: The Ordeal.
