If you’re going to be successful in Rune Factory 4, you’re going to need to hit the books. The game features plenty of exams that need to be completed to unlock content and have access to new tools and recipes. Luckily, we’ve got a proper cheat sheet for you, with all of the license exam answers in Rune Factory 4 listed here below.

All of the questions and answers will be the same for every player that takes these tests, and will also stay in the same order. In order to take them, you’ll need to meet a few prerequisites as well.

All License Exam Answers

EZ Cooking License Exam

For this exam, you’ll need to have talked to Porcoline at Porcoline’s Kitchen for the first time. It costs 100 PP to take.

You’ll need this to purchase the Knife, Frying Pan, and Mixer.

QuestionAnswer
You can learn recipes for cooking by:Eating Cooking Bread
If your Cooking Skill is lower than the difficulty level of the dish:You need more RP.
If you succeed in making difficult dishes, your Cooking Skill will gain:More Exp.

Pro Cooking License Exam

For this exam, you’ll need to complete the EZ Cooking License. It costs 500 PP to take.

You’ll need this to purchase the Oven, Pot, and Steamer.

QuestionAnswer
In the empty slots on a recipe, it is better to add:Vegetables
If you add something inedible to a dish as an arrangement, you can make:Something dreadful
If you use high-level ingredients, you can make:A high-level dish.
When you make a dish without a recipe:You need much more RP.

Chemistry License Exam

For this exam, you’ll need to have talked to either Jones or Nancy at the Tiny Bandage clinic after beating the first boss. It costs 100 PP to take.

You’ll need this to purchase the Chemistry Set.

QuestionAnswer
With the Chemistry Set, medicine can be crafted from:Plants, flowers, etc.
If your max RP is lower than the RP needed:
Crafting cannot occur.

Forging License Exam

For this exam, you’ll need to have talked to Bado at the Blacksmith’s after you’ve got to the Water Ruins. It costs 200 PP to take.

You’ll need this to purchase the Forge.

QuestionAnswer
If you have a valid recipe and enough RP to craft, you will:Definitely succeed.
When you fail to craft something, you will:Get scrap metal.
When you craft a weapon with a known recipe, or which you’ve possessed before, it requires:Less RP. Much easier!

Crafting License Exam

For this exam, you’ll need to have talked to Bado at the Blacksmith’s after you’ve got to the Water Ruins. It costs 200 PP to take.

QuestionAnswer
With a crafting table, you can craft:Hats, shoes, armor, etc.
When equipment is augmented with materials, it: Gains an added effect.
To get Cooking Bread for accessories, you must:Buy it from Porcoline.
