How to Get Treasure Keys in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore

As you’re exploring the dungeons in the game, you’ll occasionally come across red treasure chests that are locked. In order to open them, you need Treasure Keys, which can be pretty rare. There are two ways to get Keys in the game, as listed below:

  • Can be obtained randomly from any treasure chest in the game.
  • Can be obtained by completing the Lucky Spot side quests.

While you could just hope to get lucky by opening chests and getting Keys that way, it’s much more efficient to just complete all five Lucky Spot side stories in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore. The psychic girl who gives them out will often send you to areas where you can get a free Key.

The Lucky Spot quests can be accepted at the following areas:

Daitama Observatory, from chapter 1 onward.

Outside Anzu, from chapter 3 onward.

Toubo Rooftop, from chapter 3 onward.

Hee Ho Mart, from chapter 4 onward.

Outside Uzume Studio, from chapter 5 onward.

You can get five free Keys this way. Alternatively, if you don’t want to use Treasure Keys at all, it’s also possible to try to get the Locktouch ability for Itsuki. This allows you to open all locks, including the red treasure chests.

To recap, here’s how to get Treasure Keys in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore:

  1. Keys can be obtained randomly from opening chests in the dungeons.

  2. Complete all five Lucky Spot side quests to get free Keys.
