If you’re looking for the Fortnite TIE Fighter crash site locations, you’re in the right place. This guide will talk you through where to find the crashed TIE Fighters on the map, as well as how to raise your banner once you’re there to complete the Fortnite Star Wars challenge.
As we noted above, there’s currently a bunch of Star Wars challenges in Fortnite following the crossover live event this past weekend. One of these tasks players to ‘Raise your banner to capture TIE Fighter crash sites.’
Fortnite TIE Fighter Crash Site Locations
There are five crash sites that you can visit in Fortnite. We’ve marked them on the map below.
We’ve also listed the TIE Fighter crash site locations in Fortnite down below for your convenience:
- South of Slurpy Swamp
- On mountain north of Retail Row
- Just northeast of Salty Springs
- South of Steamy Stacks
- Southwest of Sweaty Sands
Once you arrive at any of the crash sites, you’ll now need to raise your banner to complete the challenge.
How to Raise Banner at TIE Fighter Crash Sites
One of the easiest ways to spot the crash sites from the Battle Bus is to simply look out for the grey plumes of smoke, which can be seen just underneath our map in the screenshot below.
Once you arrive, your next mission is to take out all of the Stormtroopers guarding it. There are normally three or four guarding each site.
These also have First Order Blaster Rifles which you’ll also need to use to complete the Star Wars challenges.
After clearing out the Stormtroopers surrounding the TIE Fighter Crash Site, simply walk over to the banner and press and hold X on Xbox One, Square on PS4, Y on Switch or E on PC.
Your character will then begin raising their banner, with a wheel appearing in the center of the screen indicating your progress. If you haven’t killed all Stormtroopers at the crash site, you won’t be able to raise your banner.
It’s worth noting that if another player has already raised their banner at a TIE Fighter Crash site in Fortnite, you won’t be able to raise yours in the same game at that site. You’ll either need to find another, or try again in another match.
