Destiny 2: Season of Dawn adds a whole new (temporary) weapon forging system that players can leverage to roll and re-roll solid weapons across all different archetypes. Let’s go over all the obelisk Sundial weapons that players can craft and farm for in Destiny 2: Season of Dawn; both the new ones, and the returning ones.
All Obelisk Sundial Weapons in Destiny 2: Season of Dawn
First, before you can start reaping the rewards of the various obelisks that are scattered around the various planets of Destiny 2 and start rolling your weapons you have to unlock them first.
All of the obelisk quests can be obtained from Osiris on Mercury. He will offer you quests in the order you see below starting with The Tangled Shore.
All of the quests will task you with killing some enemies on the planet location, sometimes in a specific way, and then you’ll need to kill a bunch more with your abilities. In both cases, you must do this on the planet with the obelisk you’re trying to attune to.
After you’ve unlocked and attuned the obelisk, you can start grinding for Sundial weapons.
The quickest way to roll Sundial weapons from a specific planet is to activate the obelisk that has the Sundial weapons you want as your primary. This option is found by interacting with the obelisk and choosing to Activate from the bottom row.
Once activated, you will receive a choice of the two weapons we marked below as Sundial Rewards. You can obtain weapons from other obelisks (or the same one) by completing Timelost Bounties in exchange for Polarized Fractaline.
