How to Get Tyrogue in Pokemon Sword & Shield
Surprisingly enough, Tyrogue is pretty easy to find in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Once you enter the first Wild Area and explore the various sections, you should be able to spot a Tyrogue if you look long enough.
If you want specific sections of the first Wild Area where you can find Tyrogue, here’s where it can be caught:
- Dappled Grove
- Giant’s Seat
- Rolling Fields
- South Lake
- Miloch
- West Lake Axewell
If you’re already past the first Wild Area and don’t feel like going back, Tyrogue can also be found on Route 3 just west of Motostoke and in the Wild Area south of Hammerlocke in the Stony Wilderness section.
How to Evolve Tyrogue
If you have caught a Tyrogue and are wondering what level it evolves on or what it evolves to, here’s the deal.
Once Tyrogue hits level 20, there are three different Pokemon that it can evolve into. If Tyrogue’s defense stat is lower than its attack, it’ll evolve into Hitmonchan. If its attack is higher than its defense, it will evolve into Hitmonlee and if both stats are equal, it’ll evolve into Hitmontop.
